OEM / ODM
Private label window film, coated to your specification
Importers and brand owners sell film that carries their name. We coat it, print the carton, pack to your specification and keep the artwork on file for repeats.

How it works
Four steps from brief to container
No design agency, no middle trader. You deal with the people who run the coating line.
Market and grade
Climate, glass, price band and what your competitors stock. We shortlist two or three constructions.
Swatches to your door
A4 and 30 cm rolls, with the datasheet. Your installer tests adhesion, shrink and haze before you commit.
Label, carton, insert
Your brand, barcode, language and warning text. A printed proof is approved before the run.
Coating slot to loading
Production booked, film coated and slit, cartons packed, documents issued, FOB Major China port, per your destination.
Customisation
What can be changed
Anything not on this list is worth asking about — the limitation is usually the coating line width, not the will.
Construction
Metallised reflective, clear electrostatic solar, clear PET safety and frosted PVC. Solar-plus-safety laminates on request.
Width and length
0.9 m, 1.20 m, 1.52 m standard; non-standard widths slit to order. Roll length to your market norm.
Shade
Charcoal, bronze, silver, blue-silver and neutral tones within the range of the construction.
Packing
Your carton, your core label, your instruction sheet and barcode. Pallet or crate depending on the shipment.
Documentation
Datasheet in your brand, REACH declaration, certificate of analysis per batch.
Scheduling
Repeat orders are booked into the coating schedule ahead of time so the shade matches the previous batch.
Timeline
The critical path is artwork, not coating
Buyers plan around production and are then held up by the label. This is the order the steps actually run in, and where the delays come from.
| Step | What happens | What holds it up |
|---|---|---|
| Brief and grade selection | We shortlist two or three constructions against your market, glass and price band | A brief that does not name the market or the price band |
| Samples | A4 swatches and short rolls by courier, with the datasheet | Courier transit — allow a week to most markets |
| Artwork and proof | Label, carton, instruction sheet and barcode laid up; printed proof approved | Barcode or regulatory text arriving late, or artwork without bleed |
| Production | Coating slot booked, film coated and slit to width, batch record created | A change to the width or grade after the slot is booked |
| Packing | Cartons printed, rolls cored and boxed, pallets built | Cartons arriving from the printer after the film is ready |
| Documents and loading | Invoice, packing list, origin certificate and batch record; loading FOB Major China port, per your destination | Certificate of origin requested after the booking |
Brief
What to send us in the first email
A private-label programme is decided by six facts. With them we can shortlist constructions and give a realistic minimum; without them the reply is a catalogue and a question.
- The market and its climate — this sets the grade before anything else
- Annual volume by grade, and whether it is one grade or a range
- The price band you sell into, and the product you are replacing
- Working width and roll length your installers expect
- Whether you need printed liner, branded core, retail carton or all three
- Any document your buyers require — testing, declaration, origin
What we will not do
- A fixed price for a year
- Coating costs move. We price per run and explain the mechanism.
- Copy a competitor's construction
- We match a performance requirement, not a package design.
- Print before approval
- No plates are cut until the proof is signed off.
- Sell your range direct
- We supply trade only, in your territory as well.
The honest constraints are more useful than a promise. Ask the awkward question early — it is cheaper than discovering the answer at the packing stage.
Repeats
Keeping the fourth order identical to the first
A distributor sells the same film for years. The risk is not the first run, it is the drift between runs.
Shade is set by the coating run, not by a recipe that produces the same result every time. Two runs of the same construction can differ slightly in colour, and on a continuous surface that difference is visible. The control is procedural: hold the formulation, retain samples from the head and tail of each run, and record the batch on the roll and on the carton.
For a repeat order, tell us the previous order number. We compare the retained sample against the new run before it ships and, where the match is not close enough, say so before the container is loaded. That conversation is worth more than a shade guarantee nobody can enforce.
Store your spares properly as well. Film kept flat, dry and out of direct sun holds its colour; film stored in a hot warehouse for two years is not the film that was tested, whatever the batch record says.
Practicalities
MOQ, artwork and repeats
What is the minimum for a private-label run?
Quoted per item. Mixed containers are accepted. The break points depend on the width and the number of grades in the order — a single grade in one width prices differently from a mixed pallet.
Can you print our own cartons?
Yes. Send artwork as AI or PDF with bleed, plus the barcode and any regulatory text for the destination market. We return a proof for approval before printing; the plates stay on file for repeat runs.
Will a repeat order match the previous shade?
Shade is controlled by the coating run. For repeats we schedule from the same formulation and keep a retained sample from your last batch to compare against — mention the previous order number when you reorder.
Do you sell direct in our market?
No. We supply trade buyers and do not run a retail operation in your territory, so your brand is not competing with ours on the same shelf.

Send the grades you sell, the annual volume and the market. We come back with the construction options, the MOQ and a sample plan.
